The final week of this school year is here. It's not the kind of end that we are used to or like, but I thank you for your partnership throughout the year and especially this 9 weeks. I am so proud to serve in this district and thankful for the opportunity to work with each our families.


This weeks focus is to complete any missing assignments and get them turned in. If you have any questions about assignments please reach out to your teacher or administrator. We are all happy to help.


I cannot wait to see our 8th graders tomorrow at the 8th grade sendoff. This is a special group of students and I commend you for you contributions to Rogers. I'm excited about your future and can't wait to see the awesome things that you will do. Your yearbooks are available to pick tomorrow at the sendoff.


  • Locker Clean Out: Items that have not been picked up will be discarded after this Friday, May 22. If you need to claim items please come to the front office this week to claim.
  • 8th Grade Celebration: All 8th graders are encouraged to drop by the school on May 18 for a celebration parade sendoff for YOU! Rogers staff want to send you off to HS-times and information are below. Social distancing will be enforced-students need to remain in their vehicles. Please see the map below for the direction of traffic during the sendoff. We cannot wait to see everyone!
  • Rogers Talent Show: Thank you to Aly, Anamani, Jacqueline, James, Jayden, and Sai for submitting your talents!
  • Yearbooks: They are IN!! Please see the flyer below for pickup information.
  • School Supplies: If you plan to order school supplies the website and school code are below in the newsletter. Deadline to order is June 14th.

Summer Reading Pays Off All Year!

There are numerous research studies that show students who do not read over the summer show a decline in reading abilities. Prosper ISD Libraries Services put together a great resource to keep your child reading over the summer.

Supply return and Pick Up Information

Special Education Students Equipment and PISD Property Return

If your student is in Special Education and received special materials, please await communication from your case manager with specific instructions on returning equipment and supplies. For specific questions, please contact Dr. Blair Hickey at bbhickey@prosper-isd.net.


General Equipment and PISD Property Return

Prosper ISD has established May 20th, 21st, and 22nd from 8 am - 4 pm each day as the time for Prosper ISD students/parents to return all Prosper ISD items in their possession to a Prosper ISD elementary campus.


Any remaining student medications in the school clinics will need to be picked by May 22nd. Please contact the campus nurse to make specific arrangements for pick up of these medications.


To help the district plan accordingly for the number of staff needed, please sign up for the day and location in which you plan to return the equipment.
