Gentle Reminders
WCGC Bottles of Change Drive Ends Soon!
Students have until Friday, October 22 to turn in their baby bottles full of change which will be given to the Women's Centers of Greater Chicagoland. The money will help to provide pregnancy counseling, material goods assistance, and medical/social service referrals for expecting mothers. Please have your child bring their bottle to the main office before or after school when it is filled.
Weather Changes and School Dress Code
With the weather getting cooler and more wet, it is important that our students come to school appropriately dressed each day. Parents should know that unless there are rain showers or the temperature dips below 28 degrees, students will be going outdoors for their recess after lunch. Students need to dress in layers for school and wear attire that is in line with our school dress code. Please note that hooded sweatshirts are not to be worn on school Mass/prayer service days.
The following items are approved cold-weather items while inside the school building:
- V-neck Pullover Sweater
- V-neck Pullover Vest
- V-neck Cardigan Sweater
- Long-sleeved Dress Shirt
- Long-sleeved Polo Shirt
- Traditional Sweatshirt (Physical Education)
- Spirit Wear Sale Items (worn over traditional uniform)
