AND
JROTC Operation Warm Kids!
CCE, please help by bringing in a new pair of socks to benefit Hutto HS AFJROTC Operation Warm Kids. New socks of all sizes (from newborn to adult) needed and can be dropped off in the front office with Nicki. Bring in your socks on Monday when we return. Wal-mart & Dollar-Tree all have socks on sale now :)2. Support our front office and your Grade Level Team by:
- ensuring your SUB TUB is updated and ready just in case you are out or have PD
- leaving information for your sub about what to do (procedures) when there are dismissal changes from the office. There have been several instances lately where our subs are not following dismissal changes and students are not being sent to the bus or brought to the office. Should your sub write this down in a certain place, etc?
- leaving split lists and dismissal info for all students with all members of your Grade Level Team

Teachers' Corner
Submit a story, success, aha! moment, funny, photo, announcement, etc. that you would like our CCE family all to know about. Email it to me by Friday of each week and I will put it in the next Monday Memo.
Kinder Read Alouds are Rocking!
Mrs. Cotton reads "Turkey Trouble" to her Kindergarten Class! Read Alouds are perfect opportunities to plan for purposeful stopping points to ask DOK questions. This is a perfect time to differentiate for your students, too, by planning for a variety of DOK questions in advance and calling on students who need that level of DOK thinking practice/response. Meeting students' ZPD +1 boosts read-aloud power! Kudos, Mrs. Cotton!
CPR Certified is Looking Good at CCE!
Check out our CCE Team that attended the November 18th CPR Training! These lovely ladies spent their evening this day to ensure that they put kids health needs first! Thank you, Mrs. Thibodeau, Mrs. Taylor, Mrs. Cargal, Mrs. Coombs, Mrs. Garza, Mrs. Perez, Mrs. Connaughty, and Mrs. Aguiar, for doing this, you rock!
One Focus Area for our CCE CIP
Just a tid-bit of what's to come from our CIP Review.
This past Thursday at the school board meeting, I was asked to share one piece of data that CCE will affect and improve upon. I chose Math data from our CIP. Even though the data discussed is 4th Grade Math, we all know that math begins as early as ECSE at our campus! Thank you to all grade levels for keeping our CIP Goals in Mind as you planned for Extended Planning Time this past week. Click here for the ppt that was shared with the board members. Gracias!
