Negitive-On average, meteors can speed through the atmosphere at about 30,000 mph (48,280 kph) and reach temperatures of about 3,000 F (1,648 C).

Positive-Most meteors become visible at around 60 miles (96.5 kilometers) up.

For meteoric showers all you really have to do is watch the news and have socal media. Because a humans naked eye can't see a meteoric shower coming till its inside the atmosphere.
