An eCard = POWER Library Access!
To access these e-resources, you will need either a public library card number or POWER Library eCard number. If you do not have a public library card, please sign up for an eCard. Note that you will need a personal email from gmail, yahoo, or a provider other than ridleysd.org in order to authenticate your eCard.
EBSCO eBook Collections
EBSCO eBooks are an amazing resource for Senior Research. Ridley High School students will be especially interested in the High School Collection. Search for any topic of interest, or click on the eBooks link in the upper left-hand corner to browse by category. Every title is available as either PDF or EPUB full text, with options to save titles to your Google Drive, download the entire eBook, email them to yourself for future access, and (or course) properly cite your sources!
Remember that to access this e-resource from home, you will need either a public library card number or POWER Library eCard number. See above for instructions on obtaining an eCard.
ABDO eBooks
ABDO, an educational publisher, is providing free access to their entire library of eBooks through May 31, 2020!
The ABDO digital bookshelf can be sorted by Grade Group (Beginner, Elementary, Middle Grades, and High School) or Subject (Biographies, Careers, Health, History, Sports, and more). A Keyword search is also available to find books on a specific topic. Click once to open an eBook, click to turn pages, and explore features such as thumbnail views of each page, a linked Table of Contents, and Bookmarks.
These ABDO resources can be cited as Print / Book in NoodleTools.
