Early Settlers
Early settlers from Britten settled in america in 1600. They thought it was easier to relocate the native Americans to territory and many times they just killed the native Americans instead. For exsample in 1830 Andrew Jackson passed the indian removal act. The cherokee tribe didnt want to relocate from their home land so they dissided to stay and fight. During the Battle of Little Big Horn the native Americans fought for land, the after math was that the Americans lost and the continued to fight for land.
Trail of Tears
During 1830 the Indian Removal Act was passed. This event started with the Choctaw in 1831 to the Cherokee in 1838. Historians estimated that 4000 Cherokee died in the trail.
Transcontinental Railroad
The Transcontinental Railroad was a important project to the United States, and they would do anything to finish it. They made hundreds of tribes relocate from their homelands to resevation. The reservations where small, and limited where the Native Americans could hunt of live. Some of the tribes resisted to leave and stayed and fought. The Americans started a war and kill more than half the tribe until they surenderd. The Americans influence the Native Americans tradition and to this day there are hardly any original tribes in the United states.
