HOW TO SURVIVE
Survival Kit Materials
What You Will Need:
- Flashlight
- Pocket Knife
- Matches
- First Aid
- Compass
- Sewing Kit
- Braided Rope
- Mirror
- Poncho (bright color to attract attention)
Have enough food and water for at least 72 hours. Your kit should contain items you would need if you had a power outage at your house.
Matches
Matches are good for starting fires, cooking and heating or sanitizing water.
Sewing Kit
A sewing kit can be used to sew teared clothing, rope together for shelter purposes, and while this may be disgusting, sewing open wounds shut so they don't get infected.
Rope
Rope is useful for many things such as supporting shelter, making shelter, catch some type of food, etc.
Flashlight
Flashlights are useful to send out distress signals, search for things during the dark if you don't already have a fire bulit.
Pocket Knife
Pockets knife can be used for killing animals for food, cutting down trees for shelter and cutting up wood for fires.
First Aid Kit
Even though its common sense, some people forget to put them in their bags when going on a trip. No matter where you go you should always have one of these with you in case of emergency.
Compass
A compass is good for direction and where you are going. If you know where you are supposed to go it could help you find your way.
Mirror
A mirror is a great thing to have on you. If its sunny, you can take the mirror and try to relfect the rays back into the air to attract planes.
Poncho
A bright colored poncho is never a bad thing to have. Its good to attract peoples attention, no one will mistake you for an animal and shoot you, and their waterproof to protect you from harmful weather.
