We did it!

ICCRS Community,

I am so proud of our students and faculty for a successful week of orientation days. I heard many sighs of relief and excitement each day as we welcomed our students back after being away for 6 MONTHS! I have so much gratitude for this community. It takes a strong team to get through the most difficult parts of life and we certainly have one. We learned some things this week that will help with our arrival and dismissal procedures. You can find the information below.

Next week is a full week and is sure to be wonderful and exhausting for everyone. We will follow this mantra; relationships before rigor, grace before grades, patience before programs, and love before lessons. We can do this together!

In Gratitude,

Andrea Spaziante

  • Please remember that we have a staggered arrival beginning on Monday. It is crucially important to try your best to adhere to your time to avoid delays and back up on Garden Hills Drive.

Last Name A-L: 7:30-7:55
Last Name M-Z: 7:55-8:20

  • Please be mindful of the side of the car your child sits on. If you are coming up in the left lane, students should exit the car on the driver's side. If you are coming up the right lane, students should exit on the right.
  • Please begin preparing your child to exit the car (backpack on) prior to entering the drop off area. This will help expedite the process of getting everyone in the building.
  • Any late arrivals (after 8:20) must come to the front main doors and ring the doorbell.

Changes to the dismissal procedures

Parking is extremely limited because we don't have any after school activities, we have fewer buses and fewer students are able to attend extended care. This means we have many more students leaving at the end of every day. We recognize now that dismissal needs to be staggered. I'm asking for your cooperation with the times listed below. Please do not arrive too early and please do not linger after your child is in your possession. In order for this to run smoothly, we will need everyone's cooperation. Thank you in advance!

LS-PK @ 2 pm at their classroom back doors

KA-KB @ 2:15 at the back main doors

Grade 1 and 2 @ 2:15 in the front of the building at the predetermined locations

Grade 6-8 @ 2:15 in the church parking lot

Grades 3-5 @ 2:30 in the front of the building at the predetermined locations
