Espanol Y El Cerebro
Spanish and The Brain
Learning while young
Spanish or any other language is easier to learn the younger you are. At a young age the whole brain tries to learn a language instead of just some of the brain. It takes from 2-3 years to be able to understand everyday discussions. It is easier to learn in a good environment.
Learning while older
You have knowledge of your first language to draw from while trying to learn a new language. It takes 4-10 years to read, write, speak, and listen at an academic level. Age, Motivation, Access, Personality, First language, and the quality of the teacher are all factors in learning a new language.
