Carolina Northern Flying Squirrel
The Flying Squirrels scientific name is the Glaucomys Sabrinus. The more common name for it is The Lying Squirrel. The animal is found in The Appalachian Mountains. This animal is in danger because there is not enough room for the population to thrive and they are hunted for they furs although small, they go for a high price. The wildlife foundation has put up a secure area that the squirrel can thrive and live.
