Attention 8th grade families!
Arrowhead High School is offering two parent nights for current 8th grade students considering Advanced Placement and/or Honors courses next year. The meetings will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, November 14th and Tuesday, November 15th at Arrowhead's South Campus Library. Anyone is welcome to attend since all academic options will be discussed, however, the focus will be on AP and Honors options. The AHS letter Mr. Posick sent via Skyward has more details and can be found on the Mustang Memo website. Any student planning to take AP Human Geography/English 9 Honorsor Science 9/Biology Honors Block will be required to take the Pre-ACT at AHS on December 3rd or December 17th. 1st quarter report cards for 7th and 8th grade families
Merton Intermediate School has two sets of formal reporting for grades. 5th and 6th grades are divided into trimesters. 7th and 8th grades are divided into quarters. That being said, with the quarter ending last Friday, 1st quarter grades will be posted to Skyward by noon on Friday, November 11th. If you have questions about this, don't hesitate to contact me.

Hour of Code is December 5th-9th
December will be here before you know it and with it will come Hour of Code! This year we are aiming to provide all of our students with a coding experience and are asking for your help. If you are willing to volunteer in a classroom assisting with student activities (does not require prior coding experience) the week of December 5-9 or come talk to our students about your career in a field relating to computer science, coding, robotics, etc. on December 14th, please contact Mrs. Iwanski at iwanskim@merton.k12.wi.us.

Big day November 15th
Tuesday, November 15th is the our final day of family conferences for the Intermediate School. It is also the final day of the Fall Book Fair. Due to these activities, there is no Homework Club on Tuesday, November 15th. Homework Club will resume Thursday, November 17th.
