F & P Testing and Folders- UPDATE
F&P TESTING BUSINESS
We will no longer be requiring anyone to complete the F & P folder and form. Just finish testing and put the scores into Illuminate.
In discussion with teachers, it doesn't sound like anyone is reading or using the forms so let's eliminate unnecessary paperwork!
GUIDED READING LIBRARY books Due back to book room by 6/2
Please make sure and turn in to the book room any Guided Reading Library materials that you may have borrowed this year by 6/2. Ms. Yve and her intervention team will be inventorying the Guided Reading materials at the end of the school year; they will also tidy up the library and let me know of any missing books so that I can forward that information to you. Please look through your classroom library to see if you have any GR books mixed in with your own.

BODIES (OPERATIONS & LOGISTICS)
New Library Printer to Help Keep Students out of the Lounge!
In response to Faculty Council concerns re: students in the Teacher's Lounge picking up teacher's copies, there will now be a second shared printer that will now be in the library. The lounge printer will stay in place so that we have one downstairs for downstairs teachers.
The library printer is also a scanner in case you need to scan a document.
Please note that you should prioritize printing before or after school. If you do need to print during the day, print to the library printer first so Mr. Miller's class isn't interrupted and/or you aren't sending students to the lounge.
Please talk to Mr. Brian Letson if you need help printing to this.
Prep Make Ups- UPDATE
Several of you will need make up preps due to the holidays on Friday and Monday.
All make up preps will happen this week during the Weds 5/31 Prof. Dev. time. We will also have Monday and Thursday next week as non-scheduled shortened days to give teachers time to prep for their many end of year obligations!
PTA Reimbursements- Due this week!
If you have questions, please contact: Jen Mahon, PTA Treasurer, jenmahan@lmi.net
Faculty Council Concerns
Solution: Ms. Toller will talk to Ms. Renata about cleaning this area better.
Concern: Teachers sending students in to the staff lounge during lunch time to pick up copies from printer.
Solution: Students should not be in the lounge between 8am and 3pm. Note the printer update above indicating there will now be a printer in the library that staff can print to.
Concern: Rodents in the main building.
Solution: DO NOT LEAVE FOOD IN YOUR CLASSROOM. This will be especially true over the summer. When/if you see a rodent, please notify Ms. Renata or the office immediately so that the exterminator can be called.
