4/2 - 42 Day Celebrations

As part of our school's 42 Day Celebration, we will recognize JROB Dolphins who exhibit all of Jackie Robinson's 9 Character Values: Commitment, Determination, Persistence, Integrity, Courage, Teamwork, Excellence, Citizenship, and Justice with Jackie's 9 AWARD. This award will be presented at the 42 Day ceremony. These awards will replace the Student of the Month recognition for March and April 2019. Our last Student of the Month ceremony will resume in May 2019.

4/12 Our school & students will be Celebrating the Legacy of Jackie Robinson "Breaking the Color Barrier"

Purchase your 42 Day shirt today. Order forms sent home with students (also available in the main office). Shirts will be delivered to the students in their classrooms prior to 42 day.

During the month STUCO and Dr. Miller challenge alllllll JROB Dolphins to be in school every day to enhance/support SUCCESS.

What: Increase attendance percentages as a grade level

How: Students being in school each day

Why: Because being in school is cool and gets students brain smarter/learn more to meet goals

Prize/reward to:

*1 grade level with highest attendance percentages for a month

*1 grade level with highest increased percentage from previous month

- Afternoon at the JROB Movie IMAX Movie Theater:

Fresh Popcorn, Cotton Candy, Lounge Chairs, Video Games, Dance Off and Photos

Minimum Requirement to promote to next grade. Please be advised these are minimums and the student is still below grade level:

1st - Mid 1 Fiction and Non Fiction, +, - @ Proficient

2nd' - End 1 Fiction and Non Fiction, +, - @ Proficient

3rd - End 2 Fiction and Non Fiction, ts - +, -, @ Proficient & x, / @ Partial Proficient

4th - End 3 Fiction and Non Fiction, Basic Facts - +, -, x & / @ Proficient

5th - End 4 Fiction and Non Fiction, Basic Facts - +, -, x & / @ Proficient
