Improper, illegal, or negligent professional activity or treatment, especially by a medical practitioner, lawyer, or public official.
Job description:
Medical malpractice lawyers litigate lawsuits based on the negligent conduct of doctors, nurses, dentists, therapists, technicians and other medical professionals and health care providers.
Job Requirements:
Degree Level: Juris Doctor
Licensure: Must pass bar exam and possibly meet other state requirements for licensure
Experience: Entry-level lawyers may work as associates alongside other legal professionals, and can advance completing multiple years of experience at this level
Key Skills: Analysis, critical thinking, research, public speaking, and writing
Schooling:
4-year undergraduate degree, followed by three years of law school.
