Raymond's Run
By: Jenna Deen
Summary
Squeaky wanted to protect her brother for all the ugly people out there but she be there 100%of the time to protect him so at the end she realized the he doesn't need her to protect her because he has his own way to do it.
Inference
In some ways I share some similarities with Hazel, I look out for my family in a way that she look out for Raymond. I look out for potential threats that might create a problem.
Conflict
The conflict is between Hazel and Gretchen, they have a conflict that escalates throughout the story about if they are racing and who is going to win the race
Theme
I think that the theme is " It doesn't matter if you are the best it matters if you try your hardest". My reason for thinking this because Hazel trained a lot and she really wanted to win.
