HOLY ROSARY NEWSLETTER
Term 2 Week 2 - 5 May
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Today was a big one in our calendar with the awesome Preprimary Dominic assembly, as well as the Interschool Swimming Carnival. Wow! To all the children involved in both of these important endeavours, our thanks to you for doing your best. And to our staff involved, likewise we express our sincere thanks to you for the considerable amount of work involved to prepare the children. Your support and commitment means everything!
Next week please consider yourself invited to Mothers’ Day Mass prepared by our Year Three Gang, followed by Morning Tea in the Veritas Garden – weather permitting! Please do come along. We’d love to see you there.
Have a great weekend

The Junior Chess Tournament has started with a bang! 76 students are participating from years 1, 2 and 3 and they are showing great skill and sportsmanship. Round 1 will take 2 weeks and students are reminded to check the Library door each morning to see if they are competing that lunchtime. We will have a break in weeks 5 and 6 for the Scholastic Book Fair. Parents can volunteer to help at the fair by adding their name to the roster on the Library window or emailing me via the office. Shifts are 1 hour and 15 minutes for the 3 days before or after school or over lunchtime, on 26th, 29th and 30th May. We are excited about our new Guided Reading sets! If anyone has any free time next Thursday morning 11th May after drop off to help stamp and sort the books, it would be much appreciated and will speed up getting the books into our classrooms. Please email me via email@example.com.
Thanks for all your support.
