What do I need to bring to apply for a parking permit?
Make, model and color of any cars the students would drive to school
A valid driver’s license
What is the process in determining who will get a permit?
In order to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to apply for a parking permit, students can apply at registration or during lunches on September 6th and 7th. On September 8th/9th, we will evaluate how many students have applied and randomly match students with a parking spot. If we do not have enough parking for students who applied, seniors will get first priority, then juniors and then as many sophomores as possible. Lottery drawings will be held at the sophomore level, if needed.
When will I find out if I get a parking permit?
Students/families will receive an email that they have a parking spot and that fees have been entered in IC by September 13th. Parking permits will be issued on Friday, September 16th for anyone who has paid the parking permit fee. Parking enforcement will begin on Monday, September 19th. The first two weeks of school numbered parking spots will be available on a first come first serve basis.
Bus Information
Students will get on the bus after school at the following locations
Routes #501-508 will pick up at Door 16
Routes #509-515 will pick up by Doors 8, 9, and 10
Buses will leave at 3:55pm
Students who did not pick up their bus tags during registration, can get them during lunches on Tuesday, September 6th and Wednesday, September 7th
Athletics Updates
We look forward to a fantastic year in athletics and activities! A couple of quick updates/clarifications:
Athletes are not exempt from purchasing athletic passes if they plan on attending Sun Prairie East home athletic events. Athletes will need to purchase an athletic pass if they would like to have one.
Students who are dual enrolled at East and West can only purchase a pass for their "home" school.
