District Update - Feb. 5

Superintendent's Message
As we make our way into the second month of 2023, and supposedly six more weeks of winter, I want to reflect on the achievements from the first half of the year that have once again demonstrated our students’ drive to excel. Our accomplishments in academics, activities and athletics speak for themselves and are thanks in no small part to the support we receive from parents, staff and our community.
I also want to look forward to where we’re going in the new year. As I’ve mentioned, we continue to emphasize our commitment to communication and transparency. An important component of this effort includes creating additional opportunities for community conversation and dialogue.
Events like our Back to School Rally, community levy meetings, Elementary Literacy Night and MHS Showcase are a few examples of our continued development in this area. As we (hopefully) begin to approach springtime, there will be several more fun and informational opportunities to join us on campus - like our Kindergarten Welcome Night and Family STEM Night!
As always, our Midview staff members and administration are here to answer any questions you may have - at events or over email/phone! Especially with the upcoming May 2 ballot issue, please do not hesitate to reach out or utilize our new levy question form linked below!
Thank you, as always, for your continued support of the Midview Local School District.
Take care,
Dr. Bruce Willingham
A New Way to Ask Questions About the Upcoming Ballot Issue
If you can't find an answer to a question or if something seems unclear, we've also created a levy question submission form (linked below)! We hope that this will serve as another avenue to engage in meaningful dialogue as we strive to inform our community.
As always, please feel free to directly contact Superintendent Bruce Willingham at bwillingham@midviewk12.org or Treasurer Mike Resar at mresar@midviewk12.org.

Midview Compass Committee's next Marcos Pizza Night will benefit our Midview West 4th grades! Support our local Grafton Marcos, Midview Compass Committee, and our Midview students by placing an order on Feb. 14.
