MacArthur 4K News

February 8th, 2016

This Week in 4K:

  • We will be starting small group work stations today. The kids will rotate around the stations and will do one each day. One group is working on literacy activities with me, one group is doing math activities with Miss Dia, one group is a reading center, and one is a math center.
  • Your PALS reports will be coming home this Monday in your child's folder. It took a little longer for me to get them completed with the snow day and late start last week. Please read the reports and let me know if you have questions, or need some ideas of things to work on with your child in any of the areas on PALS.
  • We will have having a Valentine Exchange Party on Thursday. You can send your Valentine's in any day this week.
  • We will be decorating our Valentine bags on Tuesday and making heart bead necklaces on Thursday.

Upcoming Dates...

  • Library Monday - story time; Lending Library Checkout - please return any books you still have from previous weeks so your child can checkout a new book.
  • Valentine's Day - If you would like to have your child bring Valentine's, please have them write just their name on each of the cards. It is easier for them to pass out that way. There are 19 students in the morning and 16 in the afternoon.
  • The Winter Carnival at MacArthur is on Thursday, February 18th from 5-7.
