Pediatrics is a career that helps you express the love for children by caring for them. I personally love children and I want to be able to help them when they need it. This field of work is like no other because it never gets to be a career. It is considered a learning job. In the medical field you never stop learning because nothing ever stays the same.
Every Day Outlook
General pediatricians provide care for infants, children, teenagers, and young adults. They specialize in diagnosing and treating problems specific to younger people. Most pediatricians treat day-to-day illnesses, minor injuries, and infectious diseases and administer vaccinations. Some pediatricians specialize in pediatric surgery or serious medical conditions that commonly affect younger patients, such as autoimmune disorders or serious chronic ailments.
Getting Through the Education, Training, and Gaining Experience
Education
To become a pediatrician you need a high school, four year, and medical school diploma. After high school you have 8 more years of formal education left before going off into the world.
Training
In their last two years of medical school most students start to experience training in their specified fields.
Experience
Pediatricians are required to have three years of internship after graduating from med. school.

What we do and how we do it!
Some tasks include to examine children, take medical histories, prescribe medication, order diagnostic tests, and interpret diagnostic test. To be able to do any of these tasks you need to be able to read and make charts, take and read medical histories, and know how to order diagnostic tasks. Skills that are crucial are communication skills, leadership skills, and lots of patience.
