Proposals of the Plan:
- Protective tariff established on imported European goods, making them more expensive than goods made by our own country to promote American goods
- 20-25% tax on all imports to protect American businesses
- Establishment of a Second Bank of the United States to provide a national currency for the issue of trade, sovereign credit allowed
- Improvement of transportation systems to make trade within America easier
