Hello JES Family!

Wow, it was so nice to be back on a normal school schedule this week! I think the consistency has been good for both our students and staff. The great weather has also been a welcomed change of pace!

A big thank you to all of the volunteers who have been pouring their time and service into our campus, staff, and students. We are so fortunate to have each of you!

Our JES Olympics kickoff assemblies today were so much fun, with amazing performances by our Dazzler and Cheer groups. I've included a couple of pics below. We are also looking forward to a fun week of homecoming activities this next week and hope you can join us for the parade, tailgate, and/or game. There is more information on each of these in the PTO section below.

I am so honored to be the Principal of this amazing school and a part of this beautiful community. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any concerns, questions, or joys to share with me!

4th Grade KJES Tryouts

Tryouts for the 2023-2024 KJES Announcement Team will be held over the next couple of weeks. Applications are available from Mrs. Pack in the library and are due back to her by the end of the day on Friday, September 22.

Staff Spotlight

Each week we shine the spotlight on one of our amazing staff members!

This week's Staff Spotlight is on Kindergarten Teacher Mrs. Kathy Chapman, who is in her 25th year at JES (WOW) and 38th year overall! An interesting fact about Mrs. Chapman is that one of her former Kindergarten students is now teaching at JES! In her spare time, she loves spending time with family - especially her grandkids.
