MARINER WEEKLY!
November 22, 2021
HAPPY MONDAY!
I hope that you all had a great weekend and are looking forward to the short week and the Thanksgiving Holiday! We have a lot to be thankful for and I am glad that we are adjusting to being back together in the new school year. Returning to the norms we took for granted prior to March 13, 2020 will take some time, but I am thankful for the progress we've made and we continue to evolve as the weeks move by.
We have concluded the first marking period. Final Grades are currently being finalized. Report cards will be visible on the parent portal on Monday, November 29th, at 3pm.
Congratulations to our varsity football team for their efforts on Friday evening. Although the end result was not what we hoped for, the team grew together and represented the Toms River North community very well all season through their hard work and sportsmanship. As a whole, we experienced a very positive fall athletically. I applaud and thank all of our student athletes for their efforts and look forward to watching our teams compete this winter.
Our annual food drives were again very successful and our student and family efforts will benefit many in our community this holiday season. Below is a photo of our Thanksgiving meal distribution. Thank you to our School Social Worker, Mrs. Meredith Brooks for spearheading this effort and to many of our Toms River youth sports organizations for their generous donations.
I wish you all a happy and healthy Thanksgiving and hope that you all enjoy the time with your family and friends.
