Note from Mrs. Brewer - Jump Rope for Heart
Let's give a LOUD ROAR for heart health!!!
Smith families,
You are all doing a great job with Jump Rope for Heart! We kicked off our event last week and we would like to thank all of our ONLINE Heart Heroes who have been sending those E-Cards and Emails. Rory the Lion will be visiting schools in our area and will be at our school on April 13th to deliver Gabby the Giraffe to all students who have raised $150 ONLINE. He will be delivering Gabby & Baby Gus to students who already have $200 ONLINE!
**DON'T forget to invite your friends and family to take a healthy challenge by sending the E-Card! And remember when you send 10 E-Cards you will receive Rory's Zoo Crew Badge in PE!
Keep up the great work, team. ROAR!!!
Remember, all money is due April 21st!

Guidance Lessons for April will be about personal safety and anti-victimization skills. We will have age appropriate lessons about strangers, how to avoid abuse or bullying and how to protect yourself. The rules that are stressed are “Say No” to a dangerous situation, Go away from the dangerous situation, and Tell someone.
FISD is encouraging the 21 day Happiness Challenge beginning April 3. Some ways to increase your happiness are: Write down 3 things you are thankful for each day, Keep a positivity journal, Send a thank you note or email to someone you appreciate, Exercise at least 10 minutes a day, Take time for a 5 minute quiet time.
Please send me an email if you would like to share how your family is trying the 21 day Happiness Challenge. We would love to have our students share some of the positive things they are trying. hendrixc@friscoisd.org
