Sample Teacher Digital Learning Goals for TTESS
I will increase the use of critical thinking in my classroom using digital tools. (Could replace critical thinking with: creativity, communication, collaboration).
I will use digital tools to increase differentiation in my classroom.
I will focus on moving my lessons from substitution and augmentation to modification and redefinition on a more consistent basis.
I will increase my expertise in strategies which are effective with technology integration.
I will improve my ability to gather input from students in order to adjust instruction, activities, and pacing by utilizing technology to quickly assess the needs of my students.
I will focus on the instructional strategy, self-explanation, using digital tools. (Could replace “self-explanation” with any instructional strategy such as memory, chunking and shrinking, visual, previewing, multi-sensory, or interleaving)
I will increase student digital communication and peer feedback safely and effectively to support persistence, deeper learning, & effective effort.
