Reminders for the Week:

*There is no school on Tuesday for our annual Faculty Retreat.
*St. Jerome School Yearbook orders have been extended through May 5th (last call). Use the order form here by Wednesday, May 5th. After this date, the orders must be turned in and the books printed.
*Please help us reach our goal by donating to our Race for Education here. Please help us reach our goal of 20,000 to directly benefit the students of St. Jerome School! We appreciate the 10% donation of sales from Hoboken Cucina last Wednesday; it amounted to $250.00!
*Please see the reminders for the Race for Education in the graphic below. Our Race for Education will take place this Wednesday. Students may wear this gym uniform along with the Race for Education shirt (optional). We are selling snacks (one at snack time and another in the afternoon) as well as raffle tickets. The donation of pre-packaged snacks is greatly appreciated and may be sent into school on Monday & Wednesday.
*Race For Education Raffles: $1.00 per ticket. Proceeds benefit the Race for Education Fund
Winners will be drawn on Wednesday, May 5th. Students may bring in money to purchase tickets from now through May 5th. An electronic order form is also here to order tickets and pay with PayPal or credit card.
*May Procession is this Thursday at 1:00 PM. Our Graduating Class, Confirmandi, and First Communicants will be processing into Church and participating in person; our other classes, virtual students, and any guest will participate virtually.
*The St. Jerome Apparel Store through Sixsmith Sporting Goods is now available online here. Items include zip-up SJS sweatshirt that may be worn in school, t-shirts that may be worn on spirit days, masks, jackets, drawstring bags, and more! All orders must be placed online by today, Sunday, May 2nd. Orders will be packaged and delivered to school for us to send home or picked up for our virtual families.
*CARES Fun Friday for May is due by Thursday, May 6th. All students in Pre-K3 through Grade 4 are welcome to join in the fun! Friday afternoons will include crafts, games, and activities supervised by the St. Jerome CARES Staff. Children will be grouped by cohort and social distancing guidelines will be in place. *Progress reports were posted to OptionC last Thursday. Please contact Mr. Dooley (tdooley@sjsphila.org) is you need any assistance with your OptionC credentials.

Student Health Reminders
Our reopening plan calls on every member of the school community to support our values of mutual respect, integrity, willingness to sacrifice for the common good and foster community bonds across generations. Commitment to the policies will assist in protecting the health and welfare of all members of our school community.
In an effort to keep all children safe, we ask that Parents monitor their children’s Health daily. Below are the expectations related to the health monitoring.
I attest to :
Fever of 100.4 or above,
chills,
Cough,
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing,
Fatigue,
Muscle or body aches,
Headache,
New loss of taste or smell,
Sore throat,
Congestion or runny nose,
Nausea or vomiting,
Diarrhea,
My child has not had any contact with anyone with COVID
My child has not traveled a location designated as a “Hot Spot"
I am following all CDC recommended guidelines and limiting my/my child’s exposure to risks such as above
If any of these symptoms present, please keep your child from school and contact the school. If the symptoms are serious please seek immediate medical attention. Always call before visiting your doctor or health facility.
We will keep you informed if the list of symptoms, listed above, changes in any way.
