After the Rain was Gone

We survived all the water last week and hopefully we will not be so covered with water over the next few days. We need the rain but it is good to see it move through. This reminds us how we are so dependent on our wonderful outdoors for daily enjoyment. Where I went to school, as well as where I taught in Atlanta, students never went outside until the end of the day. Hard to believe, right? Well... That's part of why we live in California. I had a nice walk in Quigley Canyon right here in Newhall and took the picture above on Monday evening as the sun was setting. Take advantage of all the green we will have over the next few weeks before it is gone. I hope everyone had a good holiday.

Stop by Tanner Hall on Tuesday afternoon to see our students in the Geography Bee. We have Leadership Team Meeting on Wednesday at 2:45. AOC ASB will be visiting on Wednesday at Lunch. DFY in SCV will be having their meeting on Thursday after school in Tanner Hall. After that, there will be a CALSTRS meeting in Tanner Hall at 4:00 PM. Welcome Back... Have a great week!
