Dear Mustang Families,
Members of our teaching staff, parents, and students participated in a process called Instructional Rounds on Thursday. We spent time in many classrooms collecting evidence on our goal for all students to speak and write in complete sentences when engaging in academic conversations. When we have high expectations for students responding in complete sentences, we believe our students' overall confidence, feelings of success, and engagement at school will increase; staff will hear more academic language during student collaboration; and students will be better prepared for future career opportunities. This practice is becoming part of our school culture.
Upcoming schedule
Athletics
Students are participating in Girls Volleyball, Boys Soccer, Football and Golf at this time. These extra-curricular activities are a positive part of the school experience for many of our students and continue to build healthy relationships. Sports seasons starting soon:
Girls Soccer begins May 3rd
