Happy Mother's Day...
Happy Weekend Spartan Families:
We are wishing all of our Shepard Moms a very special Mother's Day this weekend. We hope you have time to relax and enjoy while being pampered and graciously thanked by the children you sacrifice for each and every day.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thank you for all of your help showing our teachers and school nurse how much they are appreciated. It was a fun week with lots and lots of special treats.
Next week we are looking forward to celebrating our Track and Field stars as they head into their final meet of the season. We will also be closing out our final round of MAP testing for any of our students who missed our testing days and need to make up the Math and/or Reading Assessment.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
Chris Cybulski, Principal
Marie Zlotnikov, Associate Principal

The shoutouts will be on the front page of the district website all next week!

8th Grade Families:
8th grade graduation will be here before we know it. Please check out our quick answers to some of the questions you may have. We will continue to update our communication about the ceremony as it becomes available.
Quick Answers to the questions you may have:
1) When is graduation? June 1st, 2023
2) Where is graduation? The Warrior Gym at DHS
3) What time is graduation? 5:30pm
4) When will we receive our tickets? Your student will bring them home following graduation practice on Wednesday, May 31.
5) How many tickets does each student receive: Each of our students will receive 6 tickets for the ceremony (your 8th grader does not require a ticket).
For those who may need additional tickets, you may join the waitlist by calling 847-948-0620. We suggest you reach out to your community of 8th grade parents to see if anyone has any extras prior to requesting a ticket from the office. We will alert those who will receive an additional ticket when we have a final head count.
