March 2019
Principals Message
With the calendar turning to March, let's hope that the snow days are behind us! I know many of you are asking and wondering how this snowy winter may impact the school calendar. There are many pieces of legislation in Lansing that could impact the number of days that may need to be made up. As soon as the district has a finalized plan we will make sure to communicate that out.
March is also Reading Month at Lincoln. During the month of March, we are asking all students to read at least 20 minutes a night. We will hold competitions throughout the month and track minutes read by each student and our school. There will be individual prizes as well as a school prize if we reach our minutes read goal. Please encourage your students to read each day!
Also coming in March is Parent/Teacher conferences. Please call the office now to schedule your conference for either March 12 or 14.
Other important dates to remember this month are our parent group meeting at 8:00 am on March the 12th and our half day on Monday the 18th.
