THS Blue Devil Times
September 8, 2023
Weekly Message
It's Pork Festival Week! I hope that everyone is able to enjoy all the festivities this weekend.
Now is a great time to check in on our school goal that 95% of students will earn a credit in all classes. Currently, there are 77 total F's in the high school, and another 50 that have a D, D+, or D-. This is not a high number, but we want all students to earn all their credit. There are certainly things we do during the school day to support students, but we need your help!
Please help us ensure your student(s) is getting the best of their high school education. Powerschool has the most up-to-date grades, and teachers are always willing to answer an email, have a phone call, or schedule an in-person meeting to discuss how we can help EVERY Blue Devil succeed.
Remember, while school staff are responsible for teaching and supporting learning, only a great partnership between school and home can ensure that all students achieve to the highest standard.
As a reminder, students will not be in attendance on Wednesday September 13th. That is the second TCSC professional development day for staff. Students do not have school work for the day.
As always, its a great time to be a Blue Devil! Thank you for being a part of our community.
-Mr. Leach
Parking Lot Closed!
This is so the parade participants can line up safely before the parade.
At the conclusion of the parade, the parking lot will reopen.
Fall Homecoming Week September 18-23
Homecoming dance tickets will be sold in the cafeteria next week. Tickets are $5/person; or $8 per couple. High School students that do not attend THS must have the appropriate paperwork to attend.
Homecoming is more memorable when students participate! Show up to events, cheer on teams, and participate in dress up days!

Senior School Pictures THURSDAY!!
Seniors will have picture day on September 14th for their pictures. They will have a different background and a few different poses. More details will come closer to the date.
Our hope is that seniors will "kick it up a notch" when selecting outfits for this day to bring back a little formality to the occasion of school pictures.
"Photos by Greg" will be sending parents an order form online.
