Corron Mission Statement

Corron is a safe, warm and inviting community where all are valued and empowered. We celebrate growth. Clear evidence highlights the impact we have academically, socially and emotionally.

From the Principal

Corron families:

We have had a fabulous start to our 20-21 school year. While it wasn’t what we all envisioned, it was a success given the cards we were dealt. Thank you to all of you for following our safety protocols, preparing your children for school (whether they are here at Corron or learning from home) and for being positive role models for our children. Working as a team together will help keep us moving in the right direction and ensure that we all stay healthy and in school.

Enjoy your weekend!

New policy for students who are not certified

As of 8/20, district policy is that students will not be allowed in the building until they are certified. We have had some parents sign the certification tag but not complete the online survey. If students are entering the classroom, we then need to remove them until we are able to reach parents and have the certification complete. This can be disruptive as well as cause anxiety for students. While it’s not ideal, we need to make sure that all of our students and staff follow our protocols in order to create a safe environment.

Morning Expectations before arriving at school

  • Certify using this link Self-Certification and your child’s HAC log-in

  • Sign luggage tag verifying that you have completed the online checklist.

  • Make sure your child has a mask

Chat
A live chat service is available for device and system support. This is the best way for families to receive fast technical support for district devices and services. The virtual IT team will be available to assist Monday-Friday between 8:00am - 4:00pm, but if you leave a message, support staff will follow up the next business day. Chat support can be accessed by going to https://helpdesk.d303.org/chat/

Lunch Service begins Monday

Three lunch options and 2 beverage choices will be available daily. The menu is available on Corron's website. Paper copies will not be distributed. Payment is through Pushcoin only - NO CASH will be accepted.

School Pictures will be rescheduled

The district is postponing school pictures until January. As soon as Corron's new date is set we will share that information.

From the Health Office

Due to the possibility of disease transmission through shared items, the Health Office has decided to temporarily suspend the practice of providing a change of clothes to students who need them. Please send an extra set of clothing (shirt, pants, underwear, socks) in a Ziplock bag, labeled with your child's name, to school on the first day. This bag will be stored in the classroom to be used in case of accidents or spills. If a student does not have an extra set of clothes to change into when necessary, parents will be called to come to school to provide them. Thank you for your understanding.
