Newsletter for March 21-24
End-of-Grade Tests
EOG's are coming up soon! Please make sure your child is completing his/her homework each night. For reading passages, your child should be going back in the text and underlining or highlighting where they find their answers. This is a strategy we use in class and one your child will use on the EOG. For math, please make sure your child works each problem out.
EOG's are scheduled for May 25 and May 26.

What We Are Learning This Week:
Reading/ELA
We will continue reading our biographies and researching about our famous subjects. We will also be publishing our fairy tales and submitting them Thursday. In Wordly Wise, we started lesson 7. Please make sure your child is looking back in the text for his/her answers with reading passages. This is an important strategy that will help your child on EOG's.
Math
We will continue with our fraction unit. We will continue to review equivalent fractions, comparing fractions, and fractions on a number line.
