About the NIght of Terror!
The night of terror took place on November 15, 1917. Women got the right to vote on the 19th amendment . Women were put in jail for picketing the White House. For example Lucy Burns was beaten and put in jail and was left there bleeding and gasping for air. Dora Lewis was thrown into a dark cell and they smashed her head against an iron bed.
