*Celebrations*
- Book clubs are proving to be very successful with all students, including special education and reluctant readers!
- 3rd and 4th grade classes are collaborating and providing each other feedback on practice writing prompts!
- Students were very engaged in learning during the cohort walkthrough Friday!
- Students are engaging in discussions and participating more than ever before!
- Using PARCC sample writing prompts and specific language that students will see has helped prepare students!
- Students in 5th grade special ed are working hard and having rich discussions about story elements in novels!
- Students are writing longer and stronger essays!
- Students are demonstrating independence and taking purposeful notes!
- Students are showing an increase in stamina as they work on more and more complex tasks!

Using the Equation Editor
Be sure to give students opportunities to practice with the equation editor on the PARCC practice tests. It is slightly different than the one on the PreviLearn platform.
