Please call the school and let us know you are still in need of a device. Once we have received your request we will call you and let you know when the device is ready to be picked up.
What do I do if my device or passwords do not work?
We want our teachers to stay focused on instruction during the school day.
If you are having trouble connecting, or need technical support, call our main office number (972) 749-6300.
We will have a technical support call center running from 8:30-2:30 to support with technology and logins.

How do I make sure that my teacher counts me present for the day if I do not have a device?
For attendance, the teacher will reach out and contact the student who has not been able to log in, via phone, numbers in the student information system, email, etc. If a student has not heard from their teacher by 2:00 p.m., we ask that the student/parent call the school.
All teachers have a classroom REMIND account please ensure you have signed to receive any notifications. This will also allow you to contact the teacher directly.

MAP Beginning of Year Assessments
This year the MAP beginning-of-the-year-assessment will be administered in September. The test helps inform us exactly where students are to best tailor the supports they’ll need for instruction.
On the days that your child's grade level will be testing, there will be NO live sessions, as teachers will be helping to administer the test. Students should continue to work through their modules and assignments which will be modified for time.
The process will be as follows -
- STUDENTS NEED TO BRING CHARGED DEVICES
- On-Site testing will be at Dorsey from 8:00-11:00 and 12:30-3:00 each day according to the schedule.
- (Breakfast 8:00-8:30)(Lunch 11:00-11:30)(Break 11:30-12:30)
- Meals for all students will be included.
- All social distancing protocols will be followed, and students and staff must wear masks inside the school building.
- To ensure student and staff safety, teachers will proctor the tests and monitor that all safety procedures are being followed.
We encourage every student to physically come in to participate in the beginning-of-the-year assessments. If you choose not to have your child participate in person, please let your teacher know by Friday, September 11
*More information on Kindergarten dates coming soon*
**Pre-K will not be assessed in September.
