There is
no school tomorrow, October 8 for students. It is a professional development day for staff. There is also
no school this Monday. Students will return to school on Tuesday, October 12. Enjoy the long weekend!
There is a half day of school for students on October 29, dismissal is at 1:05 p.m., please plan accordingly.

What is RHPAG?
The RHPAG is a group of active parents with a vested interest in the continuous improvement of the education of their children here in Rocky Hill. The RHPAG is committed to fostering a life-long love of learning for all Rocky Hill students and enhancing the role of parents and caregivers with a vested interest in special education.

Cora J. Belden Library Program
The attached flyer sounds like a wonderful opportunity for our students to learn about science. Cora J. Belden has a scientist visiting virtually on Saturday, Oct. 23rd at 11am in the library. She will be talking about Environmental DNA.
School Pictures
Charleen's Portrait Studios will again be providing images for our students and families this fall. We have booked her on October 26 and October 27. Your child's teacher will inform you of your child's picture date in the upcoming week. You will also receive an email from Charleen's Portrait Studio with information on how to order and the different packages that she provides. Look for her email, it will come from
Scholastic Book Fair
We will be holding the Scholastic Book Fair the week of October 25- October 29. We will be sending out information next week on how to purchase books both online or at our in person book fair. Last year we used a pre-paid card from Scholastic for students to purchase items at school. Because the no visitor policy is still in place we will use the same system this year, more to come next week!
Cherrydale Fundraiser
The Cherrydale Fundraiser ends on Wednesday, October 13. Please return your paperwork by this date.
