Depression is widespread among teens.
1 in 8 teenagers will experience depression. Depression is a widespread problem among teens that is largely not addressed. Only 20% of people with depression get the help they need.
Signs and symptoms of teen depression
- Sadness or hopelessness
- Irritability, anger, or hostility
- Withdrawal from friends or family
- Restlessness and agitation
- Changes in eating or sleeping habits
Depression is devastating.
