The Cool Cats are on Fire!
Cool Cat Parents,
It has been a great week of learning at Hartman! Pre-k and Kindergarten students are continuing to learn about letters, sounds and strategies for decoding. Students are stretching sounds in words within their writing workshop. First grade students are comparing numbers using the language greater than and less than. Students in second grade are solving 2-digit and 3-digit addition and subtraction without algorithms. Third and fourth grade students are working on multiplication. All students are busy reading and beginning to explore informational texts.
Thanks for supporting Hartman by joining PTA! We will have our PTA member dance party on November 17th from 7:30 -8:15am. (we have UIL events after school). I would love to have all the Cool Cats in attendance! Please take time to join the Hartman PTA at www.Joinpta.org or pick up an envelope in the front office or... send $7.50 with your student marked with PTA dues.
We are looking forward to see all of you at parent conferences this week!
