We'll then be taking an ALL SCHOOL photo in front of the Central Office immediately following the Senior Walk at 2:00. Please lead your class to the front of the building at 2:00.
School Supply Lists - Updates
It's time to review and update your school supply lists. We'll use the same school supplies process as last year. Parents will be able to visit a link to order them , or paper copies will be provided at the store.
I copied last years to a new tab. Please update on the tab that is titled 23-24.
Thanks
Message From Annette Baney!
Please share this with your teachers in effort to help the custodial staff with Summer cleaning and
maintenance.
- All personal items need to be packed and taken home for the Summer.
- Teacher desks should be cleared off completely.
- If returning to the same classroom in the fall, please make a map showing your desired setup and tape it to the white board .
- If moving to a new room in the Fall, please indicate your new room number on all items and boxes. In addition, please provide a map of the new room . You can tape it on the white board in your new room.
- Please make sure all boxes are secure . Tape the bottom and the top of all boxes
- Please DO NOT "overpack" boxes . Make sure they are moveable .
- You do not need to empty shelves and the metal cabinets if they are not being moved to another location in the room .
- For Pre-K and kindergarten -- all items in the classroom will need to be packed or bagged . Anything on the rugs will be moved .
The Nurse office on K -8 campus will need to be packed up by the last day of school. We will be moving you all out into the multipurpose room on the last day of school . So the floor company can get started .
Rooms being stripped this year .
301,302,306,307 & 309 , these rooms will have to be packed up and empty out all bookshelves and metal cabinets. Teachers' desks do not have to be emptied . Just put tape on the draws .
If you have any questions ,please send emails to baneya@cleverbluejays.org.
Thank you for your attention in this matter.
Shared Drive & Curriculum - Message from Dr. Moyer
All resources, assessments, and anything for your class should be in your shared drive before the end of school. If you need help in moving items, please let me know. I can easily move entire folders for you.
All teachers must do this before MAY 19th!!!
TUTORING DUE DATES
Wednesday, May 10th last tutoring bus route.
Friday, May 12th- tutoring forms due to Mr. Sullivan and Mrs. Tangora
Friday, May 19th- All forms will be turned into Central Office for processing.
Creating a Sub Request
I want to revisit the process for putting in a sub-request to ensure consistency throughout the building and to relieve stress in the mornings. Moving forward, the following items must be included in your sub-request:
In the "Notes to Administrator":
- The reason for your absence - a brief description is fine, but for both sick and personal days this is required.
- A statement verifying that rosters are updated and in your sub binder - also, this is a reminder to update your sub binders at least once every few weeks.
- A notification if sub plans will need to be printed and who you have asked to print them.
In the "Notes to Substitute"
- The location of your sub binder and plans for the day.
If you are providing digital copies of sub plans for a colleague to print, please include me and Mrs. Tangora in the email so that we can assist in printing them. I am here most mornings by 7:00 am and would be happy to help.
And while I realize it might not be possible in every circumstance, I always appreciate a courtesy text message to let me know you will be gone especially if it is short notice (less than 24 hours).
Additional tips from Frontline can be found here, including what to do if you are unable to enter a sub-request online.
Lumen Grades!
Study skills classes are NOT graded on a pass/fail system. They should be reflecting the traditional A, B, C, D, F grades. If this is not the case, please check your settings and let me know if you have questions.
