Safety and Security
- Please do not prop our surrounding doors for any reason. This is a breach against our safety security process and can create an opportunity for an intruder to enter. Practice safe habits for yourself and everyone else daily.
- In an emergency, do not panic, local schools have a plan of action to address a variety of levels of emergency. The Administrative Team is responsible and trained to handle emergency situations.
- In an emergency situation, 100% of your attention is expected to be on supervision of our students.
- In an emergency situation, supporting the Administrative Team and our First Response Team member(s) with clearing the area from people that are not directly involved, as well as yourself, assist with maintaining a calm overall environment for all.
- In an emergency situation, ALL faculty & staff members are expected to assist with supervision of students and be visible in the hallways if you do not have a specific duty assignment.
- In an emergency situation, ASK an Administrator if you can be of assistance if you are available. If direct assistance is not needed, then assisting with traffic control is always welcomed to maintain a calm environment.
- In an emergency situation, the best support is ALWAYS to listen carefully for further direction/guidance to see if it is directly applicable to you.
JENKINS BLACK KNIGHTS KUDOS CORNER
Ms. Guzman keeps things top notch.
Kindergarten registration comes one time a year, and it is a huge task with lots of behind the scene work. Ms. Guzman worked hard planning to make sure that parents had a fantastic experience registering their child. Thank you for making the day a success.
Hats off to Ms. Graff and Ms. Tanner for Career Day 2016.
Mrs. Fendley and her students sparkle.
