Child Care Options
Washington Listens
Washington Listens is a free, anonymous service for anyone in the state. Washington Listens provides support to people who feel sad, anxious, or stressed due to the events of this year including COVID-19 and wildfires. It is a partnership of several agencies from across the state to provide emotional and mental support to individuals and families during these trying times, and links to community resources. The program was created in response to the COVID-19 outbreak and has since been expanded to support those affected by wildfires.
Any Washington resident can access a support specialist who will listen and help you cope with the stress of 2020. They can provide information to local resources and additional support, based on your needs.
Snohomish County Legal Services (SCLS)
Snohomish County Legal Services (SCLS) provides free civil legal aid services to eligible low-income residents of Snohomish County. SCLS operates the local Housing Justice Project (HJP) which provides a wide range of services, including information and educational materials about the eviction process, referrals, legal advice, negotiations with your landlord’s attorney, and assistance in preparing for an eviction hearing. HJP operates the local HJP Walk-up Clinic, it is also providing services through the Eviction Resolution Program (ERP), and is part of the Right to Counsel (RTC) program for eviction cases in Snohomish County.

Applications for the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program are no longer available. Starting on Friday, December 31, 2021 you may apply for the Affordable Connectivity Program. To learn more about the Affordable Connectivity Program, please visit ACPBenefit.org. You may still apply for the Lifeline program during this time.
The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) program that replaces the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBB Program) to help low-income households pay for internet service and connected devices.
You can get ACP if you (or someone in your household) participate in one of these programs:
- Free and Reduced-Price School Lunch Program or School Breakfast Program, including at U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Community Eligibility Provision schools
in the 2019-20, 2020-21, or 2021-22 school year
