STRESS

Stress is very dangerous for yourself and others in the workplace: a negative relationship exists between too much stress and work satisfaction, output, and limits productivity. The more stress, the more prone you are to depression, anxiety, and other illnesses which in turn affects your work.

HOW DO I TELL IF I AM STRESSED?

Do you stress over minute matters?

When faced with difficult decisions, do you panic to the point where rational thought is impaired?

Do you strive only for perfection?

Are you uncomfortable at your current workplace?

Do you dread going to your workplace on a day to day basis?

Do you find yourself more emotionally unstable than stable including being depressed or easily angered?

Do you look at the time at least a few times every ten minutes?

If you mentioned yes to any of these questions, then the work place you are working at might be causing you a lot of unhealthy stress to the point where it affects your thoughts and emotions.

WHAT SHOULD DO IF I AM STRESSED?

Some might find they are stressed because of underlying factors such as other mental disorders but in most cases it's because of the environment they are working in and, is shared on a mutual consensus.

If stress is shared among employees, it's something that should be brought up with superiors ASAP to assure that no one is uncomfortable at their job and they are working and functioning to their fullest.

There are several ways to manage stress if its not a destructive habit. Common ways of dealing with stress is meditating, drinking decaffeinated teas and coffees, leaving the workplace during breaks, and maintaining social relationships with employees.

While these are the most common ways of dealing with stress, one should decide for themselves what they find calming and effective as it varies from person to person.

BENEFITS OF STRESS

Stress isn't always a bad thing, it proves adrenaline for arduous projects which require that extra energy to make sure they are done properly and also equates to caring about one's job which is crucial for pride and efficiency.
