It will be a Magical Year at the Holy Hill Area School District
It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I write an introduction to you as your new interim District Administrator. I am truly honored to have this position in a school district and community that values academic excellence. Such commitment to excellence comes in part from HHASD’s strong community spirit, where citizens are proud of their youth and show great support for the district’s programs and educational initiatives.
As an educator for over 32 years, I am excited and honored to be a part of the Holy Hill Area School District. I have met so many amazing people in the short month that I have been here and am appreciative of the warm welcome.
As I write this, the students are experiencing their first day back. There is something magical about the first day of school. Even with my 30 plus years in education, the excitement for the first day of school prevents me from sleeping the night before. It is great to see the excitement on the face of the students and staff as we begin what I know will be a great year.
Please know that it is my intent to make every effort to foster a culture of connection, collaboration, and transparency to ensure the continued success of our students, schools, and community.
While serving as your interim District Administrator, I plan to be accessible to all stakeholders and maintain an open door for communication. I encourage and welcome any questions, comments or concerns you have about our schools and can be reached directly at onsager@hhasd.org.
It is an exciting time for the Holy Hill Area School District, and I’m looking forward to the year ahead. Please accept my best wishes for a happy and healthy school year.
Respectfully,
Dr. Tim Onsager

When is a Medical Excuse Required???
Reminder: If your child has suffered an injury (broken bone, sprain, concussion, etc), a medical excuse MUST BE provided to the office. This is necessary to understand any accommodations that may be needed and an expected timeframe. The information is kept in the students medical file, as well as shared with necessary staff so we can provide the required accommodations.

Developmental Screening Save the Date:
Holy Hill Area School District will be conducting a Developmental Screening for children ages Birth to 5 years old on Friday September 29, 2023 between 9:00am-3:00pm at Friess Lake Elementary School. You are being asked to contact Sandy Ripke at 262-628-1032 to schedule an appointment. The screening takes about 30 minutes. This screening is available to children who reside within the boundaries of Holy Hill Area School District and are not currently enrolled in school. This screening is NOT the 4K screening conducted for all incoming 4K students, which is typically held in the spring. This is a developmental screening to identify any developmental needs that may prompt the district to conduct a special education evaluation.
