That the Board of Education award Bid Package #1, Base Bid while rejecting Alternates 1 & 2 for Site Work to Albrecht in the amount of $714,250 for 2023 Capital Improvements and immediately assign the Contract with the Contractor to Nicholas & Associates, Inc., as Construction Manager.
The Director of Facilities Management, Ryan Schulz, presented the plan for summer site work on the parking lots at the Dunton Administration Building and at South Middle School.

B. ILLINOIS STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION (ISBE) COMPLIANCE VISIT
Superintendent Dr. Bein updated the board on the most recent compliance visit required by ISBE. Every four years ISBE requires school districts to participate in an extensive compliance review. The North Cook Intermediate Service Center was delegated this responsibility by ISBE. District 25 received numerous commendations and zero areas of non-compliance. An overall rating of full compliance was assigned to District 25.

Public Comments
Anyone who wishes to make a public comment can do so, in-person, at our Board of Education meetings. The Board hosts two public comment opportunities on their agenda: 1) at the beginning of the meeting, prior to any agenda items, 2) at the end of the meeting after the agenda items have been discussed/presented.
