We had a wonderful and fun week! I worked them silly trying to finish projects and clean and decorate for open house. Thank you to all who came out. The children were beaming with joy to show you their work and our classroom.
Dr. Seuss Day was great fun! I loved all of your creativity in their costumes! So cute! The only thing we missed out on was reading to another class. The sign up sheet was confusing and we were not assigned a class to buddy with. I am so sorry. We did watch Horton Hears a Who and read lots of his fun books. It was a lovely day!
Our mystery reader was Mrs. Milyard. She joined in the Seuss fun by reading The Cat in the Hat. Thank you so much for sharing with us!
I hope everyone has a great weekend!

WHAT WE'VE BEEN LEARNING
Language Arts/Social Studies-We completed biographies and our changes over time projects. We also finished reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I am hoping to watch the movie next Friday as a treat before spring break. I prefer to show the newer version with Johnny Depp as it is closer to the book. It is rated PG so if you have an objection to your child watching it please let me know and we can the original version if necessary (it is rated G). Please get back to me by Wednesday next week.
Science-We are finishing up natural resources and beginning space.
