Dear Families,

I have been receiving an increased amount of bus write-ups from our drivers over the past few weeks. Knowing that safety is always a priority, I am hoping that we can work together to uphold our expectations of students while riding our school buses. Below are some talking points derived from our student handbook that you might want to consider if your child rides a bus to or from school:

  • All passengers must properly wear a mask at all times

  • Listen to the Bus Driver

  • Sit in your assigned seat.

  • Keep hands, feet and other objects to yourself (KHFOOTY)

  • Use appropriate language and a voice level “2” - only seat mates should hear you

  • No food or drink

  • Remain seated

  • No chromebook or cellphone usage

  • Collect all belongings and trash

Repeated failure to follow these expectations could result in loss of ridership privileges. Thank you for your support with this matter.

Our registration is now open for next school year for new families to the district and next year’s 4K. You can find all the necessary details on our website here. Please note that students already enrolled in our schools do not have to have a new registration completed. You may utilize the “Create Account” and “Forgot Password” buttons on the registration page to complete your registration or gain access if you have created an account in the past. Please help us share that registration is open with any new families to the area or those with younger children that would be entering 4K or 5K!


As we continue to require masks for students, please remember the following:

  • It’s a good idea to wash your child’s mask frequently, ideally daily if possible.

  • Please ensure that your child has a few masks to rotate throughout the average school week

  • Please send an extra mask in your child’s backpack in the event they need another mask

  • When choosing masks for your child, please look for masks that have 2 or more layers of breathable fabric, cover their nose and mouth, fit snugly across the sides of their face, and don’t have gaps.

If you need help with getting additional masks, please contact the school’s main office.


Parent, please click on the Lost and Found link and review the items currently here. If you see an item that is your child's, ask your child to come to the NEW Lost and Found area. We have relocated the Lost and Found to the short hallway by room 6.


Early Dismissal, Appointments and Changes to Regular Dismissal Schedule

Students may be excused during school hours for medical and dental appointments. Any early dismissal or late arrivals should be submitted using THIS FORM. Only emergency situations should be handled over the telephone. Thank you.


ATTENTION GIRLS in K-5th GRADE!! Come Learn a Pom routine from the State Champion Franklin Varsity Dance Team and PERFORM at halftime during the Franklin Varsity Basketball game on Tuesday, December 21st at 7:00pm.


  • WHEN: Tuesday, December 21, 2021

  • TIME: 5:00pm-8:00pm

  • WHERE: FHS Cafeteria (enter by Saber Center). DROP OFF at FHS Cafeteria. PICK UP after performance in the gym.

  • COST: $30 (additional siblings $25)

  • OTHER DETAILS: Price includes a Pom t-shirt, set of poms and hair bow. Pizza, juice and bottled water will be served.Girls should dress in comfortable gym attire. You do NOT need to live in Franklin to participate. A completed Athletic Waiver and Concussion Form MUST be signed in order to participate.
