Whenever his wife yells at him, he just gets all quiet. And if he talks he only ever says one word answers and talks quietly.
The last claim is he does not ever stick up for himself.
His wife always is nagging him about doing things and getting things done. And when he does not get them done, she yells at him. People treat Walter like he is stupid. They always say rude comments or just laugh at him or make fun of him.
