PBS LearningMedia's 60-Second Presidents video collection shares facts about each of the Presidents of the United States. The minute-long videos are packed with information about the Presidents--from George Washington to Barack Obama. Students will come to understand the duties and responsibilities of the President and the First Lady and collect important biographical information about our country's past and present leaders. Recommended for grades 4+.

EdCamp Maine South
EdCamp is a free "un-conference" for teachers, parents, students, and community members. It provides an opportunity to share knowledge and ideas and to work collaboratively with one another.
Session topics are created at the start of the day and anyone can present on the chosen topics. If a session doesn't meet your needs, it's perfectly acceptable to get up and move to another one.
