60-Second President Videos

PBS LearningMedia's 60-Second Presidents video collection shares facts about each of the Presidents of the United States. The minute-long videos are packed with information about the Presidents--from George Washington to Barack Obama. Students will come to understand the duties and responsibilities of the President and the First Lady and collect important biographical information about our country's past and present leaders. Recommended for grades 4+.

Experience the Sounds and Songs of Nature

Wild Music lets users listen to sounds found in nature and explore where they come from. The site includes activities, such as audio memory games, that require students to match sounds. Users also have the opportunity to compare their own hearing to that of various insects and animals, listen to sounds from around the world, and create their own soundscapes. The site is available in English and Spanish.
