PRINCIPAL'S CORNER
Dear Parents,
Since Valentine's Day, our students have been focusing on kindness. Teachers are working with the Roosevelt PTO to recognize acts of kindness in our school. Each classroom has a goal to fill their "Kindness Jar" with marbles for each act of kindness that teachers or students recognize during the school day. Our aim is to have each classroom fill their jar before Spring break.
Ask your child if they added to the kindness jar today, or if they noticed another student showing kindness. Together our hope is to spread kindness through the school community. I want to extend a special thank you to the PTO Kindness Committee for their continued efforts to promote positive values.
Have a wonderful day!
Dr. Dwyer, Principal

Spring Parent/Teacher Conferences
Spring conferences are right around the corner and will be held on Thursday, March 8 from 4pm to 7pm. Please note that Spring conferences are scheduled differently than fall conferences. Your child’s teacher will contact you if a conference is required.
The focus of the Spring conference is to summarize the progress your child is making this year. Many parents are interested in discussing class placement for next year, so we have a separate Google form for parents to complete regarding class placement. Overall, we welcome the opportunity to talk with you about your child at any time.

Put Your Child’s Name on Everything!
As winter approaches, students are bringing more clothing items to school each day. Write your child’s name and teacher’s name on hats, gloves, coats, lunch bags, boots, backpacks, and all other items. This will avoid your belongings being placed in our lost and found.
